Dr. Linna Zhou

3D tissue bioengineering

Linna is an Investigator at Ludwig Cancer Research Institute (Nuffield Department of Medicine) and associated to Chemistry department.

Her current research uses stem cell and bioengineering techniques to build 3D tissues. These tissues are being developed for implantation as well as for the investigation of disease mechanisms.

Her two major focuses are using iPSC-derived neural tissues for brain implantation and regeneration, and building gastrointestinal organoids derived tissue models to investigate the impact of cancer microenvironment in cancer progression.
